My kid was previously enrolled in Ableland @ Tampines.

I withdrew my kid after many ugly incidents repeated many times. The principal, MDm Goh is always nowhere to be seen. Even the children do not know who Mdm Goh is.

A lot of accidents always happen. My kid fell and hit the head on the floor and passed out for a while then vomited. Nothing was done! They did not even call me until a few hours later!!

When one child developed hand foot mouth, again they kept quiet until it became so serious and spread to so many children then they take action.

At the playground outside the school, i see so many children fall down so many times when they are climbing the vertical bar and net. Many landed on their backs and hit their heads so hard on the floor but the teachers only sit down on the bench and chit chat.

The principal only collect money. Everything else don't care. You call them also don't want to talk to you until I say want to call police.

I still have medical report of my kid's injury sustained at school. Even my doctor wanted to call police to report school negligence.

I hope those who are thinking of enrolling in Ableland think again.

  • Mdm Goh says:

    Dear Joseph,

I am Mdm Goh, Centre Manager of Ableland @ Tampines Pte Ltd. I would like to point out that you are a liar who harbours insidious intentions against our centre.

I am known as Wu Lao Shi to the children as I am a certified Chinese Language teacher acknowledged by MCYS. All the children know who I am – contrary to your claim.

7 out of 8 of my teaching staff are certified First Aiders and therefore your allegation, “my kid fell and hit the head on the floor and passed out for a while then vomited. Nothing was done”, is a vicious lie. Parents with common sense will not be so easily bought and believe that a group of teachers would ignore an injured child. Adding to this, I believe that even a Primary school student will know there is a need to call the ambulance should there be such a serious accident.

Pertaining to your next allegation that we have kept quiet for HFMD cases, this is, again, another lie. Our centre has a systematic SMS system to update parents on any occurrence of urgent matter and if there is a case of HFMD, all parents will be notified firsthand through SMS, which will then be followed by a written notice. This is a strict SOP that any respectable centre will adhere to.

In addition, regarding your claim, “i see so many children fall down so many times when they are climbing the vertical bar and net”, we wonder if you have ever paid a visit to our centre in the first place as there is no ‘net’ in the playground outside our centre to begin with. We shall refrain from further refuting your allegation about “many landed on their backs and hit their heads so hard on the floor but the teachers only sit down on the bench and chit chat.”

The playground outside our centre is layered with rubber mat. The playground is surrounded by 4 HDB blocks and 1 public car park. If so many children were to fall down, landed on their backs and hit their heads so hard on the floor, the cries of children would have alerted teachers including the neighbours. We believed that many neighbours and the children’s parents would have made a complaint immediately.

Teachers would not sit down on the bench to chit chat as the playground is visible from the management office. Teachers would sit down on the bench for two reasons. 1) To meet children’s eye level and height so it is easier for children to blow bubbles. 2) Talking to a child who was been put on timeout.

Our Centre has a very open policy with regards to receiving feedback. All parents are provided with our contacts, such as phone numbers and email addresses, and we have always responded swiftly in a professional manner. My contacts are available in the center’s flyer, name card and website. Flyers and name cards are both available at the receiving area. I strongly believe that as a responsible parent, you should pay notice of this and keep our supervisor and my HP number for any emergency purpose from the first day of your child enrolment in our centre. Thus, this proves another claim of yours, ‘You call them also don’t want to talk to you until I say want to call police”, as nonsense.

We treat your allegation very seriously and will be filing a police report against your serious defamation. Following which, we shall attempt to uncover who you really are through your IP address.

We suspect that you are someone who is very jealous of our successfully run centre.
