Dear parents,
I went to the newly opened apage little uni at yck last wk. Overall i find nothing impressive except cleanliness. The teachers and principle were so young!!! Especially, the principle, at most in her mid or late 20s. Wonder she has had enough experience....
1) Went to the infant care room and saw 2 ladies in their late teens taking care of babies!!! Wondering if they have relevant experience???
2) I dun like the long flight of stairs, we have to climb up and down to pick up our children.
3) The place the children are going to sleep, eat, play and study is actually located at the basement with no windows. Pondering again... hmmm no ventilation...
4) The children seems rowdy and moody.
Lastly, I did not feel any love, passion and sincerity in the teachers and principle. Perhaps, it just my own guts feel....
newly open is always challenging. Becos besides having to care abt the day to day care and teaching of the children, teachers and management are busy with coping with geling the team, coping with issues related to new centre setup, issues with new parents. Not surprising kids are rowdy as they are new and not settled down in the routine.
By no fault of the centre or their management, new centres are simply not a good investment unless parents really hv no choice.
