every school is intergrating every other concept with every other new developments or concept so technically, dun call it montessori anymore as its not the "true blue montessori". At the end of the day, its really not the concept that is important but having the right teachers to care and teach that is critical. Parents should ask a school how they are recruiting and retaining good staff that is critical. Any school who dun have a system to retain their good staff is in trouble... My views.
It is such a joy to know that my younger boy Gaspar has finally found a good learning institution which is able to provide him with a good academic foundation. Most importantly, he loves going to his school now because the teachers show such tremendous amount of warmth and passion towards the kids, they encourage them and give praises where deserved and this I find, is such an important aspect in nuturing children.
My elder boy Glendon is one of the benefactors of such a suis generis education system, I am sure that the foundation that he has built here has allowed him to continuously excel in his academics. He has been able to attain a first in class consecutively for the first three years in Anderson and now as well for his first leg in Catholic High.
I like to express my gratitude here to all the teachers and staff whom has helped me so much as a parent in nurturing my sons into fine young boys.
