My daughter has been with GUG for 2.5 years since she was 18 mths old. Our experience with the school overall has been excellent. We are amazed at how much she has learnt from the school's programme. The curriculum packs in a lot, but it's time well spent and she always comes home excited to share about the fun activities or creative things done in class. She can read fluently and is interested to write her own fairy tales. We definitely recommend GUG!
I agree with Jun Wen. GUG has a very good program. I pulled my child out of Chiltern as she wasn't learning much. Couldn't read after 2 years in Julia Gabriel and Chiltern. I placed her in GUG's kindergarten and was amazed with the curriculum - there's just so much learning going on everyday. The topics/subjects that they cover are truly amazing for K levels! My daughter really looks forward to school. And she can read fluently after 1 year which I attribute to GUG's phonics/reading methods.
Parents, which slot did you put your child for weekday class. I am thinking of the 12.30pm-2.30pm slot but the school just informed me that they are doing away with that slot as lack of participants. They proposed the 2.30-5.30pm slot instead. But that its her nap time. 1st slot is too rush for us, thought to do away with the peak period.
Do you send/pick yr kids yrself or yr kids are on school bus?
