I have sent my son to this school since he was in nursery 1 and now he is in K1. I have nothing good to say about the school's management. Delay of 6 mths for order of school uniforms. Expensive extra charges for phonics and science subjects which I believe are the basic things the school should have taught with the exception of Science. Irregular deductions of CDA.

The most recent case is, I found out that even tho our CDA was deducted for the transport fees, the bus operator has not been paid since DEC06.

The school do not have a solid communication systems which relates the proper information to the parents. In short there is nothing good about the school and the only reason why I have not taken my son out is because I do not want to upset him when he is already so used to the environment there.

I am very pleased with my child's progress thus far. Perhaps I am not so very concerned about the added-value they can provide.

Now my child can recite Yaasin, recognize alphabets, know the numbers. They are eager to go to school and do not want to absent themsleves. Hijrah has been well-known for their quality education.

One word to describe our experience of sending our beloved son to Hijrah Kindergarten in Punggol - REGRET!

Had many problems with the management.

Recently saw a thread in a forum by Punggol Residents, which are mostly negative from parents who had their fair share of experience dealing with the school. Apparently, the thread had been taken off for fear of legal action. But then again, so many parents can't be wrong, right!

    Benny,

Now the teachers from Punggol and CCK branch are on strike and not attending school.Even the cook was not paid. I was informed that teachers did not receive any teaching materials and was not paid. No CPF contribution was made for them also. The past few days my son has not been taught anything. Just gather in the main hall with the rest of the students haf light meals and go home! Wonder what the management has done with the school fees we pay religiously every mth?

Some of the students who have paid for the textbooks also did not receive the books! This is not the first time over a period of 3yrs such problems occur. The management will only know how to use legal and say will sue. never feedback on parents complaints and never even bother to call parents with an explanation. If you try getting in touch with the Administrator, Abu Bakar, you will never get through. Leaving messages dun help either!

I'm completely agreed wif Mofra pt of view. Feeling so regret & frustrated since day 1. My daughter is in K1. Transportation since Nursery was a great failure thus distrupting her education. Not to mention complaining fm my daughter herself telling us there's no teacher attending to them for several days, instead a "cook" attended to the class @ teaching them spelling. What a WISE move Hijrah Mgmt!!!! My daughter will have a PROPER education starting fm 2moro as she will be joining PAP. At last, WAT A RELIEVE!

It is always never easy to get through Mr Abu Bakar. Whenever we gave feedback either the principal and or the manageress will say that they will look into the matter. Whenever we wanted to claim for our refunds, they will take donkey years to settle a simple figure not amounting to $150. I wonder where the money go to? I think they gotta own up what their problems are so that people will understand..instead they deny their financial difficulties yet we can still hear staff claiming for their cpf and salaries. Poor staff....i really pity them. Its an eye opener to the rest of the service provider.

  • Krystal says:

Berita Harian ran an article on 8 August about Mr Abu Bakar who was delcared a bankrupt recently and that his son who took over the business will be attending a court case regarding unpaid CPF contributions to former staffs. Now Im really worried about sending my daughter to Hijrah Kindergarten.
