Overall, Huda Kindergarten is ok..teachers are good, well trained but management are still quite poor and not well organised. The school fees are at $145 which are the average price for most private kindergatens. However, the yearly school books and uniform fees are quite steep.$300 for a set of playgroup books and $70 for a set of uniform.
Agree with Rin too abt the principal. Not very approachable.
And they could do better by building an outdoor play area, add more new slides. The current ones are limited, looks old and used..
I totally agree with Sulia about the booklist price. I think it is a bit too expensive for a kindergarten. Imagine I had 2 kids. Really cost me a boom.
I would like to comment on the new transport fee for year 2010. I was told that it had change from a small van to a minibus. The fee had also increase by $15 more. I thought that the bigger the transport, the lesser the fee should be. I still prefer smaller van as the attendence could manage better with small number of students. I just hope that they had more then 1 attendance in the minibus to ensure safety of the students on board.
However academically, my children do shows a lot of improvement and they enjoy going to school. Keep it up teachers!!
It seems that Huda is good academically. Does the school offers trial lesson?
Hi,
I'm considering Huda for my son. Does anyone has new comments and suggestions?
thanks.
I sent both my children to Huda for the past 3 years. I can say the school is good academically. I love the fact that my daughter and son are able to memorise all the doas very quickly and easily.
The teachers are also very helpful and friendly. They also organise many outings with the students and my children enjoyed it very much. Overall I would recommend the school.
The loopholes are the steep prices for the books and transport fees seem to increase every year. And the only concern I have is the lack of English being spoken in the school.
