i was at littlefootprints yishun recently n i was not happy with what i saw. teachers were not following the plan for the class but was chit chattin away. wonderin what is actully being thought for the fees paid by the parents!!!
recently i heard from one of the teacher who is no longer working there animore that she was been spy during lesson times,the 1st day of work, no orientation was conduct for her, no rest time and no proper lunchtime!!! she also told me that there's no communication between teachers at all...my gosh wat kind of childcare centre is this??? and ther's one person who is not certified as teacher and came to work as cleaner, was one of the spy...she really felt bad and regret of working in this hell!!the environment also quite dirty...nwdays children are falling sick!!!PARENTS BEWARE!!!
This school is constantly improving..
Hi Sam, are you working in the school? Can share what do you mean by is constantly improving because from all reviews that I checked including from other sites, it seems like this school at Yishun was initially quite good but now the standard of the school in overall (the teachers, the cleanliness/hygiene, curriculum etc) dropped a lot to even below average.
Would appreciate if you can share your what you know about this school. TIA.

Hi chkgout, I just went to look at the place today as I'm looking for a childcare for my son too.
I am very disappointed with what I saw.
The teacher were not following the curriculum. at 10.30am, the children were supposed to be learning English/Math or Arts. But I saw the teacher relaxing and letting the children play with toys.
What's worse, there was this boy crying for a long time and the teacher left him to cry on his own while she was relaxing (sitting) in one corner doing nothing at all, not even taking care of the other children, just staring into space.

Do you mean The Little Leader is above the shop and save? Are they just a kinder or child care ctr?
Previously I did went to take a look at some of the schools above shop n save (quite a no there) but I do not like that they are all so enclosed, cannot even see what is happening inside, all high walls, not even windows, only some small windows on top, like ventilation window size type. Won't the teachers and children there feel suffocated?
Also saw one (don't know what sch), seems good but all Indians le.

Oh dear, they have teachers who are actually not qualified and even passes them off as cleaners when checked? This is really serious, it must be reported to the MCYS, this is cheating! Cheating the parents, the children and public!
