hey parents,
I have not been to east coast branch. But my son is in tanglin. Personally and several other tanglin mums are happy with what we get and see in our children grow in tanglin. Teachers care a lot and look after our children well. They do learn a lot and hv always been impressed. In outdoor play, teachers have shared that there are times of structured and unstructured play. So teachers may seem "uninvolved". But its a time for the children to hv some free play and interact with the other children.
There is no perfect school so parents need to decide what they want and is best for their child. I stay near tanglin and i din want to waste too much time travelling daily.
Maybe the principal, ms aileen may not be as dynamic as the director at east coast (based on what you all are saying) but am pleased to have ms lisa as the teacher, as i can see she truely care and is involved with my son.
Am happy we all found a school good for our own children and that really good. Another important is for us parents to work closely with the school to grow our children well.
Am blessed.
Dear tanglinmummy,
please don't take my comments too personal. it's my 2nd time logging into this preschool blog. I merely share my thoughts after visiting both school. It's just my personal preference and no intention to offend anyone. It's great to read that your little one is happy. Anyway I've signed up with east coast. I believed all mummies will find a perfect school for their little ones. Sorry again for being too personal.
dear visiting mum,
Dun worry. I know us mummies just wanna share what we discover and its all from a personal point of view. Thot i share my views fr a mummy at tanglin point of view.
Some of my frds have chosen "prestigious" school like j.... G..... Etc and were disappointed after the long waiting queue plus all the visits to make sure teachers are good etc but were disappointed as sometimes, kids are not happy and took months to settle down.
Agree with one of the mummy here that at times, its luck to find a good teacher, good environment, good curriculum, good education resources, must be bilingual etc... I thot it will be impossible so i want my kids to be happy and look forward to school.
Wishing all mummies all the best in their search and journey.
I do agreed with east coast mummy that teacher is extremely important. I'm feeling at ease and glad after speaking to my boy's teacher. She's so patience to answer all my queries after her school hours. Honestly, I'm rather a difficult mother to handle cos my boy is my precious and I'm very kIasu.I can't express how happy to receive the news that she's going to teach my boy. I do see my boy's confidence increases each day. Even during Parent conference with the teacher, she spent time going through in details what she's going to do to help my boy and she speaks with joy when she shared with me about the things my boy did well in class. I hope she will continue to teach my boy at least until the end of the year. I'm very happy to watch my boy shares his joy with me everyday! Many thanks to Ms Jenn!

Dear all,
i've visited Mindchamp at paragon since I'm around there to shop. The curriculum wasn't as fabulous as what were being shared in this blog. A little disapointed...in fact I felt the school doesn't feel like a school. :/
dear visiting mum to paragon,
I hv visited paragon too. I know what you mean. Its probably becos the teachers/principal are new to the organisation. I visited new preschools before and they then to be like that. Even the new odessy one in 4th ave. So, my advise is go for more established schools first so that they hv time to stablish. If i not wrong, paragon only a few months old. The pros is that classes then to be small so child get more attention.
