    I'm planning 2 register my boy in Soka Kindergarten (nursery). Any comment on tis kindergarten? Wld luv to noe more.

    hi yeomaylin,

    SOKA kindergarten is a well respected school. They used Project Approach for their curriculum. From what i have observed, all the teachers are qualified and the staff turnover rate is very low. You should see their computer room, it's up to date and well-equipped with a big touch screen board.

    Routine wise is satisfactory. every single day, my child would be greeted by the staffs who will always and NEVER fail to welcome them and greet them near the main door.

    my child likes to go to school, he felt respected and listened to by the teachers. I assume this is the result of the curriculum, it is not too structured or strictly worksheet based.
    you must expect some parental involvement too. the children would sometimes bring a small project to be completed with the parents' help.

    i would love to bring my boy to soka kindergarten too but its simply too far away for me. are you a soka member too?

    yes i am. there is a transport for children provided. u may ask the school. the principal's name is mrs angeline.
